Professional £300 / $500 shoulder rig setup

This is a really great rig design, by far the best I've used. I highly recommend this setup for those that have the budget for it. For those that don't I recommend looking at something like the $95 FC-10 rig from FilmCity (LINK) or maybe even something like my £15 DIY 'pocket rig' (LINK). These are obviously not as good, but they are good for their cost.

Parts list:

Rails: I use two 18" rails and two 9" rails, but currently it's much cheaper to get two sets of 13" rails which is not ideal but should work just fine. UK linkUS link

Carry case: The 650mm one should be enough but I would go with the slightly larger one. From my measurements this bag should fit the rig relly easily, but I have not bought this exact one so I cannot say for sure. UK linkUS link
